Architect Berit Piepgras did some research on the definition of urban agriculture and did an inventory of the various forms. To give urban agriculture a chance she looked at the factors and actors that play a role in the process of urban agriculture.
There are four (main) recognizable actors.
- The consumer,
- the government (especially in the areaof regulation),
- the owner of the space
- the operator
Only food production is not feasible. Farmers should give workshops or education.
