About KITA

The Clean Cookstove project was launched in 2014 by the Kumasi Institute of Tropical Agriculture KITA). This is a non-profit premier tropical agricultural college in Ghana, founded in 1984. It was the follow up of a research report in 1976, which proposed a college to educate young people in becoming farmers. Nowadays KITA is the only private agricultural school in Ghana.

Supervisors
