First you have to cut of the lowest part of the PET bottle, than you can put the bottle on the cutter, after taking of the lid. When you have made a beginning, you can pull the wire quite easily, as shown in the film. It is important to wrap the wire immediately, otherwise it is more difficult to use afterwards.
Most bottles can be cut easily, but not all of them, for example rectangular bottles.
