Our advise on how to continue with this project.

In the three months that the TU Delft students will do their internship at KITA a lot of progress can be made. However, to ensure that the project will be successful, the continuation is very important. If the project is continued it is possible to set up a successful cookstove business.

For the continuation we will make a distinction in what KITA could do and what a next group of students could do. We will also discuss some problems we encountered and the lessons we learned from them during the preparation of our project.

At the complete beginning of this project the start was not as fast as we had wanted. First the five students had to be divided over two KITA projects. Our advise for the next group of students that will follow up this project.

As already said above it is important that in the first part of the minor the students get as much information as possible and make all the contacts needed. This is needed in order to prepare as god as possible for the internship at KITA. Advice for KITA on how they could continue with this project.

For KITA it is significant to think about what role they want to play once a cookstove business can be set up. Will they sell the cookstoves themselves? Will they train people, so that those people can start their own cookstove business? Will they sell the design and not be involved in any business?
