In the region of Matunda are a few NGO's operating. In Eldoret is SimGas actively installing biogas-installations at farms in this region and giving the farmers education and support on this installation. Another biogas company, SNV, is situated in our region. This company is also installing biogas-installations, so these two can be good partners and important stakeholders in our biogas project.
In this region there are also microcredit providers located. In Eldoret is SMEP (Small and Micro Enterprise Programme) located, this is a public-limited company with many locations in Kenya. They'll provide microfinancing to the local people in Kenya. Rafiki is also a important microfinance bank and has several locations in Kenya.
These are the most important NGO's for our project. They will support our project by the building of a biogas-installation and by providing microfiance to the school and the farmers who may want to buy an installation.
