In Kenya there is broad spectrum of climate conditions. The landheight vary from sea level on the east coast to 5199 meter on top of the Mount Kenya. Therefore the temperature, the rainfall and the moistness in the air vary also a lot. In general in the inland it is during daylight hours warm to hot and during midnight relative cold. However in the coast region it is much hotter and with a higher humidity degree during daylight and the night are less cold.
During our internship we stay in West-Kenya. In this part of the country it is warm and humid and the rainfall is equally divided in the year. The climate is a bit tropical, because of the high temperatures and the high humidity grade during the rainfall. The average altitude in our region is about 1750-2000 meters. The temperature is relative stable, the average temperature through the year is 18 degrees Celsius. During our stay from November to January the average temperature during the day is 24 degrees Celsius.
