Medical systeem

Ghana has a modern medical system funded and administered by the government with some participation by church groups, international agencies, and NGOs. Facilities are rare and are predominantly located in the cities and large towns. Some dispensaries staffed by nurses or pharmacists have been established in rural areas and have been effective in treating common diseases such as malaria (Advameg, 2014) (Bradt, 2014). In the area were we are, close to Domeabra, there is a small hospital with a Dutch-Ghanaian docter.
