Beginning of interviews and observations for the employees, competitors and potential buyers

Employees:

 

Interview questions:

  • Do you like working here?
  • Do you like being a carpenter? Why do you work here?
  • What would you like to see changed?
  • Do you have any tips for improvement?
  • How many times per week do you come to work?
  • How much do you earn?

 

These questions, are just a small outline for what kind of questions we will ask. Besides these questions that are made in advance, other questions will probably pop up in our heads during the interview. These will also be included in our assessment.

 

We will observe on the following points

  • body language
  • any strange things?
  • work circumstances
  • what makes them smile?
  • vibe in the workshop (e.g. tence, or not serious, etc.)

Enterprises:

 

Interview questions:

  • Would you like to have wooden products in your enterprise?
  • What kind of products are you looking for?
  • What is your price range?
  • How many products would you need?

  • What is their product portfolio?
  • What is their price range/strategy?
  • Where do they buy their materials?
  • What does their management team look like? (e.g. gender, age, etc.)
  • What are their sale numbers?
  • Who are their customers?
  • How do they promote their products?
  • How is their distribution organized?
  • Is the company self-sufficient?
  • Is the company successful? Howcome?
  • How do they pass on their carpentry knowledge?
  • How many employees do they have?

 

Besides these observation points that are made in advance, other points will probably pop up in our heads during the interview. These will also be included in our assessment.
