Three scenario’s (example):
1. Students are only at the school in the first two weeks. This means we have to do all the research about their lives and education program prior to the moment they leave.
2. The biogas installation is too expensive for the school at this moment. This means we have to find an alternative financing method, like looking for micro credit partners. These partners are already involved in our investigation for financing the biogas units for farmers. It can even be a good thing to test the financing constructing in this way, so we can evaluate its benefits and shortcomings prior education the farmers on the subject.
3. Benefits for farmers are unclear and they do not see any reason to make this investment. This means we have to focus on two main subjects: First look if we can put the biogas installation in another perspective for farmers, think about positioning the system as a fertilizer-producer that also lets you cook on gas (example). Focussing on other key aspects can be a way to sell the product. Finding out what the main ‘problems’ are at the farmers is key to this approach. Secondly, if the previous solution does not result in more value proposition, we can go investigate what other problems can be addressed for the next group. Think of other technologies that can help farmers, or continue the work that is done on the greenhouse.
Risk management scenarios
There are many uncertainties in the project planning and execution. We thought of the three most likely scenrio's that could affect our project and what should be done to prevent any delays or damage.
