Both inhabitants and tourist experience a need for individual mobility. The current transport and traffic system is not particularly sustainable, with respect to vehicles and land use. In particular at parking lots near the beaches and the ferry this results in polluting transport, disharmonizing parking lots and the like. Various alternative designs for these places are already made and ideas for increased public transport suggested, but the question is if and how these support sustainable mobility. Currently there is a need for roads to destinations and for parking cars, but will that need remain in the sustainable future? To become self-sufficient, how individual mobility look like in a self-sufficient Texel?

On the second day of the Bubble week, we went to Den Burg and talked to some locals about our subsystem. We prepared questions in relation to the future scenario that we have been building.
