Chapter 3 - Made by people and action
Chapter three describes the ability to be sustainable focussing on the lifestyle of the Texel locals. After a literature study in the first paragraph, the second paragraph will give a brief description of the current events, trends and initiatives towards a sustainable lifestyle . This will be further analysed in the third section by determining whether the current sustainable developments are going on the right direction. The sustainable initiatives are further detailed and the current stage, progress and future possibilities are discussed. Finally, the fourth section explores wider sustainable initiatives and trends. In consideration prior to relevant trends, technologies and initiatives this will be used to steer the sub-system in Texel in the desired direction.
