First, we finished the research to the needs and demands of the users of the MultiPurpose Centre in Chazanga. We went to the plot to interview these users.
Thereafter, we made the first sketches of the design. Last week, we made a final design. The Multipurpose Centre contains a: supermarket, education, small shops and recreation. De next days we will finish the design by working together with an architect. After this, we can order the building materials. With a little bit of luck, the building process can start next month.
By visiting the informal settlements in Lusaka, we were impressed by the bad sanitation facilities that’s why we will focus on this subject the next weeks.
