Just an other morning

I just woke up, its winter so I prefer to stay in bed. I turn on the heater already (via my phone) so that my feet will be heated up because of the floorheater. Then I take a shower and I don’t put on my glasses since my eyes are improved by surgery.  I walk downstairs to have breakfast which I got at the market this weekend. I’m not hungry yet but I see on my wrist that I need some calories and extra vitamin D, probabaly because there is not a lot of sun during this winter time. Fruit is not in season but they say vegetables have vitamins too so I grab some pumpkin soup. I think about the story my grandma told that she used to have breakfast with eggs and bacon. Bacon, in those days such a luxury. It used to be in the -schijf van vijf- but it appeared better to not eat meat every day. Weird times.

After breakfast I put on some make-up that prevents getting wrinkles and I dress myself.  This day I have to work from 12 to 16 and it’s only 9 so I have spare time. On the wall I see my mum and brother are online so I both on the speakers immediately.   I cannot imagine holding a phone anymore, happily enough, since now I can do other stuff at the same time too. I draw some things on the table and send that to a friend – I do some volunteering drawing for his company – nice things to do.

At 11.30 I walk to my work. Some colleagues stay at home, which is possible too but I prefer to have personal social contact. Happily enough other colleagues feel the same so we are with a group of 100 in shifts at the company. I live next to my company, others take the electric bike from other places.
