Hi, I am Texel 2065. I am an ideal place to live for those who avoid the fast and noisy pace of the cities. Although peaceful, I have an energetic community and innovation. I have technologies that create green energy and smart houses in the streets. You can smell clean air coming out from me. I am still a more peaceful nook than hectic cities, still connected to nature. I still preserve people instead of robots. I host people from different places, not only traditional Texelaars as in 2020. They come to me as a place for inspiration, for relaxation and for leisure.
Well, they ‘come virtually’ to me through the internet. I have kids studying online, I have entrepreneurs who have online networks to share ideas for projects that change me, I have online blogs for tourists, online supermarkets…but I still miss the stronger bonds of physical meetings in the past.
