Texel 2065
Remark: This idea of Texel was created in order to get a discussion going on, not really because it is my personal ideal future situation. Furthermore, it should not be seen as a finished vision of daily life.
Today I woke up and looked outside, I did not like the view of yesterday and decided to choose a new one; I want to live at the beach of Texel today to get more inspiration for my work as an innovator. To do my work and share it with the rest of the world I just can send anything I want into the air and it will arrive wherever or to whomever I want it to go.
Since a couple of years I do not have to eat anymore: when people go to sleep, we automatically get our ‘fuel’. When we are running low on energy a sensor in our body tells us to refuel and our direct living environment changes into a resting one, so that we can get refuelled immediately. Although we do not have to eat anymore, people still like to enjoy tasting different flavours they used to like. So instead of food, we have capsules of smell and taste.
