Self-driving cars are a rapidly evolving technology which only a few years ago was still considered science fiction. In the following lecture, Prof Bert van Wee will summarize and explain anddiscuss the underlying ethical issues behind this upcoming technological breakthrough. You will recognize the 'trolley problem' and 'the problem of the many hands' which we discussed in week 1.
When watching, please reflect on the potential consequences for implementation and the many issues to be resolved beforehand.
