Evaluation: Case Study: Responsible Robotics

Short evalution of chapter 2 section 2.3

My part of this chapter was the case study: responsible robotics. With this topic I had to start the class, which I thought was a little bit frightening. To take some pressure of I started with commercial about Pepper, a Japanese household robot. Because it was in Japanese I thought some people would lose attention, but I think I went quite well.

After the commercial I gave a little lecture about roboethics and value-sensitive design, which you can find in the attached media. I was nervous for this moment. Firstly, I am not very confident about giving a presentation and secondly, I am not used to speak English in front of a big group. Although I know I am not the only one troubled by this problem. But after all I think it went okay.

The last part of my topic was a short discussion about the relation between ethics and the growing robotics in each discipline. I think it was not very clear to everybody what was expected from them and they have not been given enough time to come to a conclusion. This part could have gone better.

Altogether I think I could have gone better regarding the time, but the information was clear.
