After the group was complete, we started by looking at the different exhibitions that were part of the theme Identity. My proposal for the group was to do the presentation about the Goat Project. All of the members of the group thought that was a good idea and were excited to play goats.
We first had to think of the different values that were at stake when you are talking about sometime rigorous as living as a goat. We quickly came up with the value evolution. The reasoning behind it was that if you would live as a goat, you would essentially devolve. From here we took it a little broader and reasoned from the point of view of mankind as a evolved species, that devolving into a goat would be a flop scenario and evolving into a super human would be a top scenario.
The second value was a little bit more difficult for my group to come up with. At first they thought about technology, and although technology is a big part of the subject, we thought it was more or less on the same axis as evolution. After a little more debate I presented the value that I, together with the other members of chapter 3, came up with: social cohesion. My group thought it was a good second value to use for the analysis, so we used that value.
For the presentation we were supposed to present a top and flop scenario. We did it a little different and presented every quarter of the diagram: from a very unsocial goat, to a highly sociable superhuman. You can see the result of the little play in the video.
