E-waste if the waste of electrical and electronic equipment such as computers, TV-sets, fridges and cell phones. It is one of the fastest growing waste streams but only one third of the e-waste in Europe is recycled properly.
The goal of this project is to get an understanding of the current situation of e-waste, what environmental impacts e-waste has and most importantly, what has to be done to ensure e-waste sustainability.
