Kenya has had some influential political reforms since the post-election violence in 2007. The World Bank even calls it one of the most rapid and ambitious devolution processes going on in the world. The reform started by accepting a new constitution in 2010. Its vision encompasses a dramatic transformation of the Kenyan state through new accountable and transparent institutions, inclusive approaches to government and a firm focus on equitable service delivery for all Kenyans through the newly established county governments. In 2013 the representatives of the county governments have been chosen and new county constitutions are gradually taken shape.
Although there is a long way to go to a total inclusive state, the Kenyan government has already made some revolutionary steps.
The current president of Kenya is President Uhuru Kenyatta
