In our project we focus on building a knowledge-network supported by a prototype of a biogas-installation at the school. In the network we want to focus on the local farmers in Matunda. These farmers will be connected to a contractor who can build the installation. To support this knowledge transfer we built a biogas-installation at the Loreto Covent High School. On the school we will give workshops to the local farmers from Matunda to demonstrate how the installation works and to give them an education program. We also want to give classes to the girls on the school, so they can spread the knowledge on biogas to their home town.
We don’t want to build an installation at all the farms, but we want to motivate the farmers to build the installations themselves with the knowledge we give them. We give them a financial plan to fund the build of the installation and we tell them about the positive sides of the installation.
