The idea for this project was first thought of two years ago. Three partners teamed up to start an initiative to bring modern farming to Ghana. Vincent Gambrah and his organization AfroEuro are involved in various projects in Ghana. AfroEuro’s mission is to create a forum for inter-cultural exchange between people of African origin and their host nations in the spirit of promoting the identity of African-Europeans. For now, they focus on Ghana and the Netherlands. This project is focused on creating business opportunities in Ghana. Martien Duijndam is a consultant in greenhouse farming, he met Vincent at a conference on African agriculture. Frans Wittermans joined them and is also a consultant on starting projects like this and writing funding proposals.
