We are not focusing on a market research in the Netherlands; in the Netherlands we already now that there is interest in products that are sustainable. Think of canvas bags, a dopper, superfoods, second hand clothing. In Peru, this 'hype' doesn't or exist little. We want to focus on the Peruvian interest in products made from recycled plastic and we want to now what kind of 'hype' we could introduce.
Before and during the market research we will also create prototypes, together with the weavers in Manchay. In the end we will develop one or two prototypes that came out as a result of the market research. These prototypes are ment to be developed into products which can be sold in Peru and in the Netherlands.
In order to create awareness about the problem and tell people about the project we are going to set up a crowdfunding campagne.
