Sunday the first of November we arrived in Lima after a 12-hour flight! After an exciting taxi ride through the always busy streets of Lima we found our apartment in the area Miraflores. The local time then was 9:00 pm, but since the time difference of 6 hours it felt as if we were up all night and so we decided to rest a bit.
The next day on Monday we all were awake at 4:30 am Lima time; we actually thought that a jetlag was quite overrated but we certainly experienced it that morning! At 7 am we were dressed up and we went into the city centre. The cultural differences were definitely noticeable; the traffic, people and structure of the city are totally different.
After exploring Miraflores, we bought some office products because we decided to make an office from one room of our apartment.
Today, we started to work on the market research we are going to perform. The home-made office we set up in our apartment is very pleasant and we created an optimal working space where we can work the next 3 months.
This week we will have a meeting with L.O.O.P. and we will be very busy continuing the market research (and also beating the jetlag)! We will keep you updated!
