Today was our first day at the Farmerline HQ as it is officially called. We wanted to arrive at 9 o’clock, as we did not know what time they would normally start. We arrived a little late, because we could not explain properly where it was. Eventually at half past nine, we managed to get there.

We were happily welcomed. Because Worlali works in Accra, setting up a second location and Amos is away together with Patrick and Sissy for the week, we spoke to the CTO. He asked what we were going to do. We explained that we have to improve our timeline and problem definition a little.

And so we did, Evelien worked on a detailled planning for the upcoming 5 weeks and made a second infographic that explains how our business model fits in the current situation.

Selcuk first took a power nap (a long one), he could not sleep last night, so it was in the best interest of everyone if he became a little fitter. In the afternoon he worked on the mid term report, based on the comments Esther gave us.

Sjoerd has come up with to questionnaires, one for the farmers and one for the LBCs. These questions are a guidebook for the interviews with both the parties. He also updated the BMC to the current ideas we have.

Tomorrow we leave at 9 am to cocoa farmers. These farmers are using the services of Farmerline for quite a few time now and tomorrow will be discussed if they are going to pay for it. From freemium to premium. A nice start to for us to get to know the customers.
