The Skype meeting we had yesterday, showed us what role we actually play in the eyes of Worlali. It may have been his enthusiasm, but he hinted that we should try to arrange meetings with the staff of important LBCs and Cocobod in order to pitch our idea, but at the same time create an opening to put Farmerline on the foreground. Having a positive attitude from Cocobod aka I quote: “The god of the cocoa industry in Ghana” would have a huge impact and give Farmerline an enormous boost.

As we want to have several meetings with the stakeholder next week, we prepared a quick presentation and searched for more information about Cocobod; their location, staff members and how they may be approached.

Evelien elaborated the minutes from our Skype meeting and sent them to Esther. Selcuk made the presentation and Sjoerd wrote a letter to Henk-Jan from Tony’s Chocolonely to ask him if he has any connections we might be able to use.

When we asked Patrick about football, he mentioned that next Tuesday the national Ghanaian football team will play in Kumasi. This seems a very nice opportunity to integrate with the Farmerline crew outside the office and fun to go to.

Tonight there will be salsa dancing at the KNUST campus, which is organised by Patrick and we will go there together with the other minor groups that are in Ghana.
