Today we had our first visit to the LBCs. We were quite exciting and did not know what to expect really. Albert from Farmerline accompanied us to help during the proposal. We went to Kuapa Kokoo to present our business model. We arrived and Francis the Communication Officer listened to us. He seemed impressed and wanted us to present again to the Farmer Union. We went to another office nearby and did our presentation again.
This time we have 5 listeners and after the presentation the firing lane of questions began. Some we could answer, some we could not. Albert helped us, explaining the details of Farmerline and how they operate. As our project only consists of the framework around Farmerline and TAHMO we experienced that we need assistance in these negotiations with LBCs.
For our first meeting with stakeholders, it went really well. On Monday next week, we will be having a meeting with The Board of Kuapa Kokoo, who actually are n charge of the decision-making.
In the afternoon, we worked out the minutes and discussed further actions with Worlali, Amos and Albert in order to be prepared for the meetings next week.
