This graph shows the results of the four different water boiling tests. We measured the
temperature of the water every two minutes until the water reached the boiling point.
It can be seen that all the cookstoves boil water much faster than a three stone fire.
Also, we see that our second prototype is faster than the first one and last year’s one.
On the cookstove of 2014 and on the first prototype of 2015 it took 44 minutes to boil
the water, while on the second prototype it took 40 minutes.
Test results 1
We did four different tests. We tested a traditional three stone fire, the cookstove the students built last year and the two prototypes we built this year. Here we will provide a short summary of the results.
