Under the supervision of the local representative of AfroEuro and in cooperation with KITA, an research and teaching institute for tropical agriculture in Ghana, the students will prepare (the implementation of an application) for funding of the project by a Dutch foundation that specifically focuses on Ghana. The application will comprise a business plan and marketing plan and a thoroughly underpinned financial paragraph. The application is already in preparation. Either the students will have to implement the application, if funding is acquired, or else the students will provide further detailing for the application. In both cases the job to be done is more or less the same: finding concrete partners for building the greenhouse (local suppliers and experts), make a design and calculate the costs of the design (support from a Dutch greenhouse company), design the structure for management and operation and find concrete and suitable marketing options for selling the produce. In case funding is available the building and the operations of the company can already start.
