Business Model Canvas Moringa

Untitled.png

For this project, there has been chosen to develop a business model because of the fact that the project effects many different groups, who all should be able to gain insight on the project in a easy efficient way. The business model can be seen as a design of key interdependent systems that create a sustainable business that is also competitive (Moris, 2005). The business model canvas provides an easy way to communicate the vision that is been carried by the project, what will help the progress project.

Because of the fact that we will mainly work with persons from KITA and also the whole Moringa business will be situated at the campus of KITA, this business model will be generated for KITA as the main entrepreneur. KITA could be seen as the middle man between the farmers (suppliers) and schools/care centres (customers) within the supply chain. This business model can be used from now until the Mor Nutro Powder business has grown in such ways that there have been established more partnerships and the production process at KITA has been improved in such ways that the business has expanded and there are more interested potential customers than before. This is estimated to be in 5 years from now.

The results of the business model canvas will not only be communicated with KITA, but the gained insights will also be interesting for the group of students who will continue the Moringa project at KITA. With the designed business model canvas, they can easily see where the focus of the project was put this year, and they can choose to continue with this approach or adjust it to something they think is more optimal for the moringa farm.
